Do some days make you feel like you just want a do-over or that you should have stayed in bed? Maybe you are having a bad day, a bad month or maybe even a bad year. Maybe your relationship feels like it is falling apart or not as wonderful as you imagined it would be. Maybe you lost your job, or maybe you are retired and bored and don’t feel like you are doing anything with your life anymore. Maybe you are going through a divorce or maybe you have just been feeling sh*tty for years and you don’t know how to get out of this “eternal rut.”
Perhaps it’s not something that is so life changing – maybe it’s just the little things that are constantly bogging you down that make you ask “why me?” Maybe it’s that your car broke down at the most inopportune time? Maybe you always get stuck in traffic jams or get every red light when you are driving to work. Maybe you are not making enough money to make ends meet and you feel like that is just the way it’s always going to be. Maybe you are the one who always gets sick in your family. Whatever it is to make you feel like everything is falling apart, it is for a reason!
All those “maybes” mentioned above sound like really crappy things happening, but the good news is, that is the old paradigm way of seeing things; believing that you have “bad luck,” or that everything always happens to you. Guess what? We are entering a new Earth, a new paradigm – that is, if you are willing to make the changes necessary for yourself to elevate your consciousness and your entire perspective in life. This “new Earth” concept doesn’t mean that we will be traveling literally to another planet or another dimension. It means that we will be shifting our mindset and raising our consciousness to a mental state of being that resonates more profoundly with what we prefer.
That may sound a little hocus pocus to you but what does this all mean for you? Well, it means you are going to start working on the way you look at things, combined with practicing gratitude.
It doesn’t mean that you are going to wake up tomorrow and everything will just be perfect. What it means, is that you have to do the work! Like a job, life is work; being happy is work and so is being healthy. Some may disagree with this perspective, but happiness is not just a place you reach, it is a state of being that we consciously choose every day. Things will inevitably sometimes go wrong, but how we respond makes all the difference.
There are two main things to focus on when you feel like everything is falling apart:
1.Your Vibration – Ask yourself what frequency are you on? Are you expecting bad things to happen, and do you say things like” I don’t have good luck?” Remember, that the energy we put out is the energy we get back. It is not some kind of punishment; it is just the law of vibration.
What is the Law of Vibration? It says that almost everything moves, and nothing remains constant. We refer to these movements as vibration, and the speed or rate at which something vibrates is called its frequency.
“The only difference between one object and another is the rate of its vibration. Even solid objects that we perceive as βstatic,β such as cement or a desk, are vibrating at a slow speed. Your body, on the other hand, vibrates at an extremely high rate.
Our thoughts, like everything else in the universe, are energy. And they vibrate at different frequencies depending on the nature of the thought. Our thoughts are cosmic waves that are so powerful that they penetrate all space and time. And our thoughts and feelings control the vibration of our body. We have the power to dictate the frequency of our being by choosing and directing our thoughts. Your emotional states dictate the vibration that your body is in. And, to a large extent, these vibrations dictate how you experience life because they set up resonance with anything that is on the same frequency.” (ref. ProctorGallagher Institute)
If we don’t raise our vibration to a higher level/frequency (of love, of joy, of peace, of gratitude,) nothing will change. We must learn to attract the things we want by becoming better versions of ourselves.
We are all connected – we all go through the ups and downs of life, the good and the bad, the highs and the lows. We all experience it, but the next important thing is…
2. Your Response – How are you responding every time something goes wrong? Are you in that “poor me, everything always happens to me” state of mind, or are you in a “what can I learn from this” kind of mindset? Yes, sometimes, there are people who have everything happen to them all at once. Whether it is in the same week, the same month or year after year. There are lessons to be learned and until we don’t learn from those lessons, they will keep repeating themselves in the little things that irk and trigger you in life. We cannot control the things that happen to us, but we can control how we respond to it! Deep down in our soul and in our gut, we know the answers, the problem is, we may not always want to face them out of fear – fear of judgment, fear of ridicule, fear of loneliness, fear of lack, whatever it is – chances are it is fear-based. Once we get on the frequency of love and of faith in ourselves and in Source, we can reach a better state emotionally and respond to circumstances and challenges accordingly.
Maybe your car broke down, and you may have responded in anger, frustration or maybe even fear, but have you really stopped to give thanks to how many times that vehicle took you to where you needed to go? Have you given thanks that you were even able to afford that car to begin with? It doesn’t mean that at that moment when your car breaks down you are going to be a bundle of joy and excitement, it simply means that ultimately you, you have to put things into perspective and try to see things from a different lens.
There are many things in life that we all tend to take for granted but that is where I say we must do the work. A book that helped me change my perspective on all of this is called, The Magic. It shows you how to express gratitude every single day, for the smallest of things, even when you may feel that things are not going your way or you feel like they are falling apart.
Just remember: βWhile we wait for life, life passes.β Seneca.
Life is a journey, so we can’t just sit back and wait for things to be perfect. We have to learn to manifest the things we want and learn to live the life we want, by choosing happiness and the things we are passionate about! When we are living in true joy and fulfilling our needs, and being our authentic self, we are much happier and much better equipped to deal with the challenges that we are faced with. We always have the power to be happy and to be healthy – it is a matter of the choices we make.

Sometimes, even in the darkest of days (and times,) we have to be the light in the midst of all the darkness.
“In order for the light to shine so brightly, the darkness must be present.” Francis Bacon.
If we didn’t know darkness, our light couldn’t shine so brightly. YOU decide who you are! Choose the energy you prefer. We have to learn to let go of the things that don’t work for us. We don’t have to stick to it, to them, we need to use them as a springboard to propel into the person who we want to become and what we prefer for ourselves in life. When you accept negative energy as commonplace, it becomes second nature in your life. The lesson is to LET GO of the things that don’t work for you.
So, what are so things we can do when we feel like things are falling apart in order to help us feel better emotionally and spiritually:
“A man cannot remake himself without suffering for he is both the marble and the sculptor.” -Alexis Carrel
This means we are always a work in progress, in transformation. We are the work of art as well as the artist.
When things fall apart, it is an opportunity for change, for a new chapter, for a new perspective and a new appreciation for life.
Here are 12 ways you can help raise your vibration frequency.
- Express Gratitude. Gratitude is one of the quickest ways to raise up your vibration;
- Exercise – something as simple as going for a walk can help release your endorphins;
- Be generous with yourself, with your time, and with others;
- Learn to meditate and to do breathwork; as well as shadow work;
- Focus on positive thoughts; “Energy goes where energy flows.”
- Eat foods that are nutritious;
- Eliminate toxins from your body;
- Start writing/journaling the things you would like to accomplish each day;
- Forgive yourself for mistakes you have made previously;
- Surround yourself with people that bring you joy and if you are not around people, listen to videos and/or podcast that are uplifting.
- Start reading personal development books, even if it’s only a couple of pages a day;
- Come back to this article if you need reminder of what to do.
So next time you feel that things are falling apart (and maybe they are,) remember that “Energy attracts like Energy, and make a decision to become one with what you want. You can only attract what you are harmony with”, The moment you fuse with your want, it has to manifest. – Bob Proctor ”
- Grab a notebook or journal and start writing down what you are feeling and what your goals are. This action will help you to increase productivity, time management, happiness and achieve your goal in 30 days. Writing things down daily makes a huge difference in your mindset and in how you manifest the things you want.
