FOCUS ON THE GOOD

There is no doubt that everyone is going through something, in their own way and that the times we are living, often feel a little apocalyptic. We are each facing our own obstacles and challenges, whether directly or indirectly, as well as, living through one of the most divisive times in modern history, which sometimes feels like we are on our own, even when surrounded by family and friends.

In my opinion, the best we can do, is to try to get out of survival mode and back into thriving mode. And we can start by adding a drop of positivity of “love and light” into the bucket of life, each day, and focusing on the good, but first we need to “find” ourselves. If we do not love ourselves authentically and know who we are or want to be, then that hinders our ability for self-growth.

What you say and believe about yourself, changes your world and consequently clears any negative energy you may have, which ultimately affects the inner change within you by transforming your life, and consequently, the energetic blueprint is changed in the quantum field.” – Bashar

When you focus on the good and you no longer look to be better than your fellow man, but instead, to be a better version of yourself, that is the key to happiness and self-love. Our job here on Earth is to master the ego lessons. We have to learn to express our true authentic feelings from a place of love and not from our ego. Our ego makes us act out unexpectedly, lash out or create separation and issues in our relationships. -Siman

We need to take responsibility for our own part in the world and learn to harmonize our thoughts, feelings and emotions to focus on the things we can control – ourselves.

We are each a piece to the puzzle, in the jigsaw of life, and in order to add value to the world and our environment, we need to learn to return to self…to love and value ourselves authentically, so that we can truly affect the collective positively.

It’s time to turn off the “bad part” of your brain that makes you have doubt, fear and worry and begin to listen to the good part as often as possible. The part of your mind that focuses on things like self-love, confidence, gratitude, empathy and compassion.

Even with all the trials and tribulations we go through in life, we should acknowledge that in the whole scope of things, we are blessed. There is always something to be grateful for and if at any time, if we are unhappy, we have the power to change. We can start by focusing on the good things in our life and expressing gratitude for our blessings.

We have the ability to dive into a different version of ourselves at any time!

We must learn to pay more attention to the good things in life and focus on the things that bring us joy and add light into our world. Use your skills and your talents, focus on your hobbies, writing, crafting, teaching, leading, empowering, etc…to make a difference daily.

The more we are able to focus on the good and the more we share our light and love, the more we raise the vibration and consciousness of the Universe!

Stay away from obsessing over the news, stay away from drama and stay away from the toxic things and relationships that drag your energy down. There is already enough negativity and challenges that find its way into our lives, without us adding more of it.

What we say matters. What we listen to matters. And what we DO matters even more. We may not be able to change the world, but we can change the little things in our lives, starting with ourselves, to make the world a better, happier place.

We must work on the individual before we can affect the collective and we must learn to master self-love above all.

There is no better time to return to self than NOW! With all the craziness, chaos, and challenges we face on a daily, it is time to focus on the good, on SELF-LOVE and our path to soul healing, so that we can better serve the collective.

It is time for you to put on your “oxygen mask” and learn how to get out of survival mode, “cultivate the confidence to show up in your fullest expression through self-love and experience a profound, inner metamorphosis that will enhance every aspect of your life.”

THE TIME IS NOW

< Would you have this sign in your home – your bathroom or your room? Are you confident enough to look in the mirror every day and say to yourself, “Hello Gorgeous!” Or repeat affirmations of self-love? We spend most of our lives trying to better ourselves and improve our looks, our skills, our relationships, our jobs and so on…but what no one ever really teaches us, is just how important it is to love ourselves authentically.

We spend every day waiting for nighttime. We spend every week, waiting for Friday and every year waiting for our vacation time. And our whole lives waiting to be happy! Why do we keep waiting? Time waits for no one. We need to learn to relish the moments and live each day as if it was our last. The clock gives us the time, but it cannot define what we do with that time. We have to learn to love life, and to “play” passionately and intentionally because eventually, that “playtime” ends for all of us. We must follow our passion, EACH and EVERY day! And that means doing the things you enjoy doing, being with those people who bring you joy, work on the things you want to improve.

The real issue is not the time, but what we do with the time we are given and who and what we become with said time.

In order to live your life to the fullest, you need to learn to love yourself so fully and so authentically that you are not willing to accept anything less than what you desire and deserve. You need to learn to reinforce positive beliefs about yourself!

THIS IS YOUR TIME, NOW! There has never been a better time to focus on your own PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, YOUR GOALS and on putting YOURSELF first (for once!) You have been so focused on making your relationships work, your business, your career, your kids, your health, your family’s issues, your friends and on helping others, that you may have lost sight of who you really are and what YOU really want to do with the time you have in your life, while you are here on Earth.

SELF-LOVE, MENTAL WELLNESS & PROSPERITY

Self-Love, Mental Wellness, Productivity – it’s all tied in together.

I don’t know about you, but to me, the last few years, (some days) just feel like a real sh*show in all honesty. It is like we are stuck in this endless loop of uncertainty, status quo mode, bombardment of bad news and fearmongering and waiting for something to happen. What that something is I don’t know.

I know that I have had some days where I was just hating on myself for a variety of reasons, but mainly because I feel like I am not doing enough, not accomplishing enough etc…, which affects my mental wellness and ultimately, my productivity levels.

Have you ever felt this way? or maybe you have been going through some changes in your life recently – maybe changing jobs, a new relationship, divorce or maybe you feel like everything is just falling apart right now?

The good news is that because of those feelings, you can make changes! Personally, I have learned to use those difficult moments to my advantage, by transforming my attitude and mindset. I have learned how to stay away from the things and people that no longer serve my greater good and peace of mind and learned to focus on the things that truly make me happy – mind, body and soul and focus on my own well-being. I am also trying to focus on “The Formula,” as channeled by Darryl Anka (a.k.a. Bashar.)

What I have learned through trials and tribulations and much introspection time, is that it is imperative for us to focus on our own self-care and self-love. It is also important to acknowledge that we always have the power to be happy and to be healthy. How we achieve those two, are up to us and our mindset.

We sometimes make the mistake of comparing ourselves to others when it comes to our lives and our work and also putting pressure on employees to outperform each other. It is time to give up unrealistic standards and societal expectations and unfair comparisons.

It is time to re-connect and get in alignment to become the best version of you and make mental health a priority for ALL.

THE MOON & COMMUNITY

When there is a Full Moon, does it have you feeling a little bit β€œoff, like things are a little out of control, like things are just a little bit weird? Maybe you start feeling under the weather or feeling out of sorts? (More than usual, that is.) Do you have mood swings?

I know yesterday (full moon night) I had a horrible day with a migraine that wouldn’t seem to go away, no matter what I did to try to alleviate it, which in my case, indicates that it is weather-related.Β For me, things like the weather, the full moon, and the barometric pressure affect me because of the titanium plate in my head (but that is a whole other story.)Β 

Independent of that, the moon affects many people in different ways, specifically the full moon, and especially women with their cycles and their  hormones! #iykyk

Aside from years of superstitions and myths about the full moon and human behavior, there have been studies conducted on how the moon may affect circadian rhythm, mental health, menstrual cycles and more. It has long been believed that the moon can affect your mood. Of course, it is true that environmental factors can play a part in a person’s mood swings, which may consequently result in possible episodes of anxiety and/or depression. 

Some studies have shown a possible correlation between the moon & human activity. β€œThe human body is made up of 55% to about 78% of water, there’s some reason to believe we may be impacted by the moon, its light and its 27-day lunar cycle β€” especially when you consider the moon’s gravitational pull on the earth is powerful enough to affect the ocean tides.”

According to a study from an article at Cleveland Clinic, (CC) it states that β€œ we do know is that the moon may have an impact on people with bipolar disorder. In a small study of 17 people, researchers learned that their patients cycled rapidly between states of depression and mania, and that these rapid cycles weren’t random but instead in sync with the lunar cycle. Though the exact mechanism that causes this is unknown, it’s believed that those quick changes in mood were caused by a disruption to their circadian rhythm and their sleep-wake cycle.”

There are many articles and studies on this topic, you may look up. However, the point of my writing was to point out how indeed the lunar cycle can affect human behavior, mood, sleep and so on, so therefore, we should try to use it to our advantage

We should make it more common practice to gather under the magnificent Full Moon and manifest all the things we would like to bring into our lives and into the world. There are groups that do this all the time and meet up to do healing and Reiki rituals and have been doing it for years. In my area, there is a scheduled gathering at the beach in the evening to do exactly this. I am sure if you look it up, you may find one in your area as well.Β 

I used to view these things as a little bit β€œhocus pocus,” because I didn’t understand how lunar cycles can actually affect human behavior and the power of manifestation but now, I know better. You too can learn and discover the science and psychology behind manifestation and lunar cycles. Understand how thoughts, emotions, and actions create your reality and learn to master manifesting methods and energetic conditioning techniques.

In my opinion, more than ever,Β we have to ALL do what we can to collectively raise our vibrations and set our intentions for a better more peaceful world. And if nature and the full moon helps us do that, then why not? You can achieve this not only through nature but also in education, reading and researching on this topic.

We need to learn to channel all of our negative energy into something more positive. We need to rise up and become better versions of ourselves and if using to the Full Moon helps us to let go of the negative and bring in the positive, then, so be it. 

This month’s Full Moon (July 2024) comes to us in the sign of Virgo, inviting us to prioritize, and clear out our clutter on all levels – physical and emotional. 

β€œThe Full Moon is a time for releasing what no longer serves you, ridding yourself of all of the heavy, stagnant energies, and creating space for all of your manifestations.” 

The energy of the full moon is a perfect time for you to set your intentions and to manifest the things you want to bring into your life.

When we gather in community, and collectively vow to engage in these offerings, we raise the vibration of one and other.” Gathering in this way, using the moon and other modalities of healing, with positive intentions, is always magical.

EMPOWERED WOMEN EMPOWER WOMEN

Where are the Bravo/Real Housewives fans? I know some of you here just love to watch Real Housewives!

Truth be told, I am not a big fan of watching TV, in fact, I rarely ever watch TV, however, I am a huge fan of empowerment and helping to make people feel better and live better! This is why the company I recently partnered with caught my attention from the get-go! 

Everything about this company resonated with me, especially the women in leadership.

There are some pretty amazing women in the forefront! Starting with one of the Co-CEOs, who is a celebrity on Bravo’s RHOSLC (Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,) Whitney Rose! Not only is she a TV celebrity and successful entrepreneur, but she also created a super successful skin care line 6 years ago (Wild Rose) that is now part of our amazing product line up! TIME FOR SELF LOVE

Do you love yourself? Can you look in the mirror and say you really love who you are? Maybe you do love yourself, but do you know how to love yourself at a soul level? Let me ask you, do you struggle to take time out for yourself and do the things that you love to? Do you make yourself a priority? Do you find it difficult to say no, to the things you really don’t want to do? Do you sometimes feel like a doormat, for never speaking up?

One of the most powerful things we can do for ourselves is to learn to love ourselves authentically at a soul level and not accept anything less than what we deserve!

When we are at our best, physically and emotionally, we are better equipped to give our best, whether that is to our partner, to our children, to our family, our friends, our work, our community and so on. It is like the proverbial oxygen mask on a falling airplane – we must put on the oxygen mask first, if we have any hopes of helping anyone else.

If we do not help ourselves first, then how can we be helpful to others? We must learn to work on the individual before we can go out and affect the collective! And the collective doesn’t necessarily mean you are going to go out and help every single person that is in trouble or in need. I am referring to you affecting your own circle. For example, being a good mom or dad, a spouse who is present, a loyal friend, a good partner and so on.

If you want to be your best, most authentic self but you struggle with self-doubt and lack confidence sometimes to go out and do what you love to do, then it’s time for a transformation. You may be a confident person at times, but you allow the negative self-talk to get the better of you when it’s time to follow through. I know, I speak from experience!

Maybe you are caught up in a job you don’t like or actually looking for just “the right job.” Perhaps you are stuck in a relationship that isn’t going anywhere or that feels lopsided? Maybe you are a parent, who has been so preoccupied with raising kids, that you forgot who you truly are. Or maybe you do have a job you like, and your relationship is fine, but you still struggle with confidence and self-love.

Some of us were raised to always try to help others and not focus so much on ourselves, as it was seen as egocentric. But guess what, UPDATE: We are the main character in our own life, so it’s time to act accordingly! It is not selfish to focus on self-care and self-love!

It is time for you to cultivate the confidence to express your soul’s fullest potential through self-love, while embracing your true, authentic self! It is time to focus on YOU!

It is time you learned to release negative emotions and reinforce positive beliefs about yourself. You are enough and you have the power to be happy & healthy: mind, body & soul.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE AT A SŌL LEVEL

As a wellness brand ambassador, I have and do represent various companies whose products and mission I align with and are on the right frequency with mine. I will continue to only bring the best in health and wellness products, as well as personal development to my customers, family and friends, regardless of the company. To me, it is about helping people!

We ALL have something special to offer – the key is to find it and to learn to love ourselves unconditionally first, so that we can embrace our authenticity and love ourselves fully, just as we are!

It is time for us all to prioritize our health in a holistic way and embrace our POWER!

LET’S GET BACK

It’s time we all got back to what really matters and that is on becoming better human beings, for our own sake, for our children’s sake, for future generations and for our planet.

We have become so consumed by what is going on socially and politically, especially in this Country (U.S.A.,) that we have lost sight of who we are as a race! The HUMAN race! We are ALL from the same place – EARTH, even if sometimes the behavior of others may seem “out of this world!”

In my opinion, we need to focus more on what CONNECTS us than what divides us.

You will be surprised to see that there is more in common with each other, more that unites us, than not. Perhaps you have different political views from someone but maybe you share a love of spirituality or a love for the same sports team. Maybe you share a love of cooking or writing, maybe you share a love of ancient history or blogging. Maybe you can relate to someone who has experienced divorce, loss or grief; maybe you have nationality or hobbies in common. Maybe you grew up in the same Country, or city or went to the same school? Maybe you share a commonality of careers or passion for pets.

Whatever it is, there is always something you can look for to try to connect with someone.

We are all connected, whether you believe that yet or not. The key is in learning to look passed the facade and the “masks” we wear to be who society expects us to be or have been conditioned to be based on our upbringing. We have become so complacent being who we have always been, that sometimes, we find it scary to go outside of our comfort zone and explore new own interests or topics that we are not familiar with.

Focus on being a human being and let go of the toxicity and obsession that has been cultivated in our society. Learn to have REAL conversations with people and LISTEN to each other.

If we can’t be kind, respectful and tolerant with each other, on a one-to-one basis, how can we demand it on a greater scale?

Focus on making your own life better without pointing fingers and complaining. Try living life a few weeks aways from the mayhem of television and bad news. You will see that life goes on whether you are engaged or not.

The political arena has always been an up and down rollercoaster, no matter who is leading, (and more like a circus these days) but what matters most, is what we are doing to EACH OTHER!!

The world is a stage – and if we are going to be on that stage, let’s not act the fool!

How are we each making our little corner of the world better, as human beings? This is what we need to ask ourselves each day…not complain and b*tch about life…but actually do something to better it, and ourselves, even if that is the smallest of things, in our own lives.

We need to get back to the things we love to do, be with the people who make us happy and help us to be our best selves. We need to focus on living healthier, happy lives. We hold that power within us and until we don’t learn that and live by that, we will continue to play the blame game and hold resentment, anger, fear and hate – all of which are detrimental for our health and mental wellness.

We need to learn to fill people’s bucket with joy, love, positivity and kindness and not empty it with complaints, criticism and negativity! We don’t need to the world to be perfect around us before we can be kind, respectful, compassionate or at the very least, tolerant of each other.

What we need in life is mutual respect and to get B.A.C.K to the basics!!

Balance – everything in life requires a balance to live in a peaceful state of mind. There will always be good and bad days, love and hate, ups and downs, but learning to find the balance in life is key.

Appreciation – we must learn to appreciate our lives daily and live in gratitude

Common Sense – without this we are lost. It seems lately that society has lost its compass when it comes to critical thinking and common sense. Bring back thinking and reasoning!

Kindness – goes a long way! Treat others as you would like to be treated. It’s really that simple. Be kind!

We must stop being bystanders in life and start actively participating in making our world a better place, and that starts individually with self-love, by becoming better versions of ourselves. We don’t have to wait for a government or others to change. We have the POWER to be happy, to be healthy and to make the changes within our own life. We have the capacity to think beyond our circumstances. We can actually participate in our own unfolding as human beings and not react based on what is happening in the world around us. We are ALL from this Earth just trying to live out our human experience, with the goal of being as free as possible, hopefully in a world filled with love and peace! Let’s get back to remembering we have more that unites us than separates.

EARTH DAY, OUR BODIES & BALANCE

How is Earth Day and our Health tied together?

When our bodies are in a state of balance, it is said that it is in a state of homeostasis. When it is out of balance, our health can be compromised. For example, the Earth element in our body is associated with the spleen and the stomach, which are in charge of digestion. Excessive “Earth energy” can result in sluggish digestion, weight gain, bloating and a tendency towards stagnation and causing us to feel out of balance or just ‘off.” 

Not only does feeling ill cause us to feel an imbalance in our bodies but also when we feel anxious, stressed or depressed, as well. This can definitely manifest itself in many ways, including physical ailments and/or disease that disrupts our state of balance.

In case you didn’t know it, every human body has an endocannabinoid system. “The endocannabinoid system (ECS) plays a crucial role in regulating a wide range of bodily functions, helping to maintain balance and harmony within the body. One of the primary functions of the ECS is to regulate the release of neurotransmitters, which are chemical messengers that transmit signals between nerve cells.”

A natural way to get our body in balance or homeostasis is to use CBD, that comes from a hemp-derived plant. This helps to send signals to receptors in our body to get us back in balance – it is an attempt to get our bodies in a state of homeostasis.

And so, on a bigger scale, our Mother Earth is also trying to get back in balance, as we all have collectively affected its state of imbalance. The celebration of Earth Day is an attempt to get humanity in balance by helping to bring awareness to the harm we are causing Mother Earth and “It is an attempt to awaken the consciousness of humanity to the fact that we have endangered our planet, and as a by-product we are endangering our own lives.”

We must bring balance to both our bodies and planet Earth!

By bringing balance to our own lives and by being more conscious of how we treat the planet, we are bringing more harmony to the collective consciousness and therefore, bring balance to our Earth in more way than one!

LOOK FOR THE GOOD MOMENTS


How often do you spend time worrying about things that might happen or focus on things that you don’t want to happen or that you don’t like? I know I am often guilty of that as well – worrying about something that may happen, that I don’t want, which ends up being a waste of energy.

I read a really simple but profound statement by author, Gaby Vargas, which made me realize it’s time to re-direct my focus. She says, “Look for the good moments becauseΒ the bad ones come all by themselves.” And that is the absolute truth.

We all know that bad news travels fast and worrying is a waste of time and energy, so why then don’t we focus more on the good things that happen in our lives – on the good moments? I think it’s a matter of habit. We have to get ourselves consciously into the habit of focusing on the good.

We have to make an effort to enjoy it all, celebrate everything! Plan parties, reunions, invite a friend to coffee, spend time with family and friends…take time to have conversations, to listen, to share and to appreciate the time we do have here on Earth.
We are all born with peace and time (limited, but still with time.)

Find peace within and use your time to spread love and peace in the world. Find what brings you joy, what makes you feel at peace, and nourish that. This in turn will bring you harmony within and bring satisfaction into your life.

Appreciate everything, especially the peace and the time in your life – sometimes we forget that these two are priceless. 


Our ultimate goal in life should be to live a life of peace, love and harmony – start TODAY!
