HOW TO LIVE MORE INTENTIONALLY

Good times. Bad times. We get to experience all of it in our lifetime. Yet somehow, when we flip the date on a calendar to a new year, we expect only good times, and good health, as if there was some kind of magic trick in starting a new year. The trick is actually in knowing we have the power to create the life we want to enjoy the good moments and navigate through the bad moments. We get to choose how intentionally we live, within the realm of our environment and its obstacles.

We are all born with peace and time (limited, but still with time.) As we grow and get older, our environment and often our choices, begin to dwindle that innate peace. And as soon as we are born, that timer starts ticking. We always assume we will live long, healthy lives, and G-d-willing, we will; however, there are many of us, who have gone through life-changing health scares or lost loved ones before their time, (or both,) and as a result, we have learned first-hand that life is a fragile gift.  We know the pain of having someone we love, leave this Earthly plane way too soon. We have also learned by facing death and seeing death first-hand, that “before their time,” can be at any time for any of us.

This is why I focus so much on gratitude and on appreciating the moments shared with family, friends, and loved ones, while I have them. We need to learn to be grateful for everything we have in the moment because as we get older, it is some of those unexpected moments in our lives that culminate into cherished memories.

I know you can’t love or even like everyone all of the time, G-d knows that is no easy task – LOL – but we can try to be kind and compassionate to others. You can try to be the change you wish to see in the world. You don’t even have to be famous to be a change maker. You can make a difference, whether it is in the lives of many people; or just one person at a time, starting with yourself! You can make a difference one day at a time to help change the world for the better. The chaos around us doesn’t change, we change, and we become better equipped to handle life and all the challenge that come with it.

Like Jim Rohn said, “Don’t wish for fewer problems, wish for more skills. Don’t wish for less challenge, wish for more wisdom.โ€โ€‚When we shift our perspective inward instead of trying to change the outward, we become better.

This is why I am trying to share as much love and light as I can, even if it’s just through writing and in trying to help motivate and inspire others live as happy and as healthy lives as possible. It is what I believe to be my mission – to help others understand the power we each hold within, to transform our lives and to make a positive difference in the world. For me, as I write, not only is it cathartic but it is often, self-talk. Working on myself is a lifelong project, as it should be for all of us.โ€‚We have all had some kind of project in our lives, but what we were never taught in school is that WE are the project! We are here in Earth school to learn and become better versions of ourselves.

Start by appreciating your own time and by finding peace within. When you are at peace with yourself and truly happy, it makes it that much easier to be kind and to spread love and peace in the world. Now that doesn’t mean you are going to be all “love & light” all the time. What I mean is, that you can make a difference in your own environment simply by changing yourself. The chaos around you doesn’t change or go away, you just have to learn to vibrate at a higher frequency, so that you are in alignment with love and the good in the world.โ€‚

When you spend time focusing on negative things and bad news, you are keeping yourself in a low frequency. You will be pleasantly surprised when you drift away from the programming, the media and societal pressures.

All the little things matter and make a difference – online and IRL (in real life,) but especially when we are out in the real world. For example, you can do small gestures to brighten someone’s day, like paying for someone’s coffee at your local coffee shop. You can hold the door open for someone, or let them in front of you in line, if you are not in a hurry. Don’t road rage when you are stuck in traffic; say please and thank you; smile at someone just because; think twice before you send a sassy or sarcastic reply.  Be respectful of other peoples’ time and the struggles they may be going through. Everyone is going through something in their own way. And everyone is different, but ultimately, I think everyone just wants to be treated fairly and with respect. I think we all want the same things: more prosperity, more peace and more time to live our lives as best as possible in love and in health.


As we mark the calendar with a new year, a new month, a new day…make an effort to enjoy it all, celebrate everything! Plan parties, reunions, invite a friend to coffee, spend more time with family and friends…take time to have conversations, to listen, to share and to appreciate the time you have with your loved ones. Start a new hobby, rekindle a past one; take that trip; visit your daughter, your father, your grandmother or your best friend you never see anymore because you both are “too busy.”  If you are the one who just waits for others to reach out to you, make an effort to initiate the call or text first. 

Don’t keep waiting for the right time to visit or the right day or to take that vacation time. Take smaller road trips; create your own adventures.โ€‚Time is ticking for us all – make it count! As we get older, it most definitely feels like time is speeding up (maybe it is) but the point is, young or old, time is promised to no one, so don’t wait for that special occasion or the New Year or an anniversary – start enjoying today just because.


Do not wait until you face a health scare, or you get some bad news that someone you love is sick or dying, to really start living your life and appreciating your family and friends and doing what truly makes YOU happy. You cannot turn back the clock. You cannot change the past; you can only learn from it. We only have NOW!

Strive each day to live a life of peace, love and harmony with yourself and with others. Focus on the good, practice daily gratitude; listen to more love songs and less bad news. We cannot expect the world to change, if we are not willing to make changes ourselves, for the better. Start appreciating your loved ones more or at the very least, show them!

We always find the time to go grieve the loss of a loved one no matter what our schedules are, but do we make the same effort when they are alive? We ALWAYS have time for funerals. Why not make time for LIFE?!  “It’s funny when you’re dead people start listening.” (Cue The Band Perry song, “If I Die Young.”)โ€‚Don’t wait to listen. Don’t wait to live your life fully. Send the flowers now, not when it’s too late. Plant a tree in someone’s honor, not wait for their memory; gift someone a plant or grow sunflower seeds!) Give your loved ones their eulogies in life.

Remember that everything that happens to us, for us and through us, is a test of our evolution as human beings. It is a test of how we respond and what we learn from those, often harsh lessons. Even in the face of tragedy, and loss, we can turn that pain into purpose by helping others who may be going through something similar. When you learn to live your life on purpose with faith over fear, it helps to bring more peace of mind to you and to make our time here on Earth more intentional, thus affecting the collective.

Own your own happiness and challenge yourself to be better! Others can’t make you happy if you are not happy with yourself. When you are truly happy within, you are not willing to settle for anything less. All the lessons you’ve been through have gotten you to this point.โ€‚Start focusing on how you speak to yourself and don’t be so hard on yourself. “Bashar” says, to repeat this affirmation daily, “I am who I am and that is enough; “I am who I am and that is enough.” Know that you are enough right now and always have the opportunity to become a better version of yourself in terms of frequency. The energy you vibrate at, is the energy you will get back, but it all starts with self-love.

Find what brings you joy, what makes you feel at peace, and do what you feel passionate about and nourish that. This in turn, will bring you harmony within and bring satisfaction and ultimately, happiness into your life. If you live authentically in your relationships, in your work and in your truth, you will begin to radiate peace and love.

But mainly, send a message to your children, your grandchildren, nieces and nephews and the younger generation on how to live passionately and authentically, even if it is inโ€ƒa time we may no longer see, by making every moment count with no regrets. Use your time here in this physical reality to keep learning and making a difference.

Leave a legacy worth following. Enjoy the moments NOW. Don’t just celebrate the wins, celebrate the whole journey. Every year, every month and every day, remember that life is like a book, waiting for the chapters to be written. Our lives are a blank canvas from the time we are born, and we get to design the life we want. The key is to learn, to know and to believe, that we have the power to do so. We can write our own stories and paint our own canvas by creating the life we want by believing, working & achieving our goals ๐Ÿ’š

Remember that there are things you prayed for and wished for that are now part of your life. We must take the good with the bad, the ups and the downs. It is all part of the circle of life. How we choose to fill our days, is up to us.โ€‚

Fill your days with color! Remember to look for the good moments and be the rainbow, when the world feels like a rainstorm. What you never did is done. What you will do is yet unknown. What you have is NOW.

Live life so that you have just enough time. Don’t just set the intentions, live with intention!

YOU ALWAYS HAVE THE POWER

YOU HAVE THE POWER for change, no matter what day it is!

A date on the calendar will not just automatically bring better times or change into your life. This is the time of the year when we all start making plans on what we are going to do when the new year starts. How many of us say we are going to start eating healthier or go on a diet or start working out or move on, move out, move forward and so on in the New Year to turn over a “new leaf” or to set intentions and all kinds of goals, that are often not met.

We have to recognize that we are always in control of our choices at any given time. We have to create better timesโ€ฆ.in our lives, and in the world around us. We have to design the life we want! We keep waiting for the right moment in time, but when we keep waiting for that ideal moment, time keeps passing us by.

You cannot expect to flip a switch on in the new year, and everything will just be different. You have the POWER within to make changes, to be happy and to strive to be better, starting nowโ€ฆeach and every day, each and every month, each and every year, for as long as we are here on this Earth. 

Most of us know, deep down, exactly what we need to do to make changes, whether it is in our daily habits, in a job, or in a relationship…it is mainly the procrastination and the fear that holds us back.

Intention without action means nothing.

We have the power not only to change our own lives for the better, anyway we can, but we also have the power to affect the collective. The choices we make, matter not only in our own lives, but they have a ripple effect on those around us as well.

We are all responsible for playing a role in saving humanity and planet earth! That sounds a little intense, I know, but every time we are unhappy and hold back from living our best life, we are sending out negative vibrations into the Universe.

When we are in alignment, living in our truth, authentically, in a peaceful state of mind, happiness radiates from within and that emanates onto the world and affects those around us. We have that power! We each have the power to affect the world, at any given time, even if you never looked at it that way.

So, as we enter a new year, a new chapter, let us not obsess about what goals we have to meet or what intentions we need to set, but rather, on what we can each do to bring in the good vibes and elevate the vibrational frequency of the world and to spread much needed ๐—น๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ and ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ to this planet, no matter where in the world you are!

HOW GOOD DO YOU WANT TO FEEL?

Are you a mushroom eater or not? Personally, I do not like to eat mushrooms but when I learned about ALL of the benefits of taking adaptogens from an organic mushroom blend, I got charged up and was all in!

HEAL YOURSELF & HEAL THE WORLD

It’s crazy to think but once again, we are circling on another holiday season, which will culminate with another year passing us by. I think we can agree that we have all (basically all of humanity) been through so much in the last three years, as we have tried to “move on” from the global pandemic and all the craziness that came with those years. If you were lucky, (some were not so lucky) you and your family members were left unscathed, and you learned from that experience. And by learned, I mean that you learned who and what is important to you, what you are willing to accept or not accept or perhaps you learned to live more passionately and purposefully, knowing everything that was going on in the world and the uncertain times we were living in. This would have been the best-case scenario for that experience and those years (2020 to date.)

Fast-forward to today and I would say that most of us have been living in a kind of plateau-survival mode, where everything seems okay, but we don’t want to stir the pot too much and get out of our routines or comfort zone, but the reality is that there are a lot of shifts coming!

In my opinion, there will be changes for us all, whether we are ready or not.

Brace yourself for all the news in the coming weeks and months that will most likely wreak havoc and chaos. There will be new versions of CV19, new regulations & restrictions, talk of Alien invasions, gun violence, DEW, global fires, political drama, tsunamis, climate craziness and overall inexplicable happenings with a tinge of fearmongering.

It may feel like things are getting more chaotic (and perhaps they are,) but it is actually a perfect time to go on a healing journey and to find the truth of who we (each) are. We are being called into the unknown to heal the aspects of ourselves that need to be healed. We must go through the rough days to get to the other side of love, nurturing and the truth of who we are individually. We must face those things that trigger us and heal ourselves from whatever traumas are still holding us back.

We should aim to shift our perceptions and our beliefs to become more open-minded and accepting of others and more compassionate as human beings. We are all connected, however, when we are divided by race, religion, politics and so forth, we are weak and powerless. When we unite, we are stronger. That is why finding who you truly are as an individual is key because there is nobody else like you! Being your true self is how you actually fit into the world. Like puzzle pieces in a jigsaw, we all fit harmoniously. Every single piece is a different shape and we have to find our positions in the puzzle and honoring and expressing that. In the next few months and years, there will be massive changes to humanity. We are living in a time where we will actually see humanity shift. Believe it or not, we are living in the greatest time right now, as we watch the shift happen. It is not necessarily the Earth that is shifting, we as people are the ones changing. We are moving into a higher state of consciousness and awareness. There are those who may continue to elevate their consciousness and then there are those who will stay on the same plane of existence (3D) just getting by without really making any difference or expanding their mindset or way of living life.

There are some people who can no longer conform with idle chit-chat, a.k.a. mindless conversations, or just spending days watching the news or gossiping or putting up with any b.s. These people have leveled up so to speak and are looking for more profound relationships and meaning to life. There are many “light workers,” whose aim is to help heal the world and make a difference. A light worker is someone who strives to make the world a better place and improve the lives of others. In my opinion, we are not just here to wake up, go to work, pay bills, sleep and repeat every day. There has to be more!

It is up to each one of us to find the power within ourselves to find unconditional love and come back to the remembrance of why we are here on Earth.

The physical reality we are in, is an extension of our spiritual selves. We are here in this physical state to discover ourselves from a new point of view. We are all living a “movie, a play,” you might say, and we all have different roles to play.

Mother Nature is trying to do her part in waking us up. Planet Earth is ascending, and it will affect the entire galaxy and will trigger humanity to awaken to stop ignoring the laws of the Universe. “Your frequency is your highest currency.” – Eldora We must raise our frequency/vibration.

It is time to step into your POWER! Humanity is being asked to step into its divine power.

All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts.” – Shakespeare

The primary message we should take away is, “What are we trying to learn? What are we trying to transform, even in the midst of all the mayhem?” No matter what is happening around us, here on Earth, we should learn how to create our own reality, and learn how we can affect the collective. We need to learn to experience our physical reality to change to be more in alignment with our spiritual existence.

How we experience our physical existence can be manipulated or arranged, and we can learn how to change things and transform to become much more aligned with our purpose here in on Earth. The goal is to discover ourselves from a new perspective.

It is easier to see a candle flame when it’s surrounded by darkness. This is why we need BOTH sides to understand something about ourselves – like a play of “light and dark, and in that play, we can discover who we are. – (synopsis from Darryl Anka, a.k.a. Bashar.)

How are you expanding your knowledge while you are here on Earth, while navigating through the chaos and all the choices you are faced with? Are you exploring the light and the dark – the negative and the positive? That is essentially the eternal battle of life – the choices between good and evil, the light and the dark forces. However, it is not necessary to get consumed with existential questions but rather, to learn to navigate life with the best tools at your disposal to master your journey. It is best to focus on spreading love and being kind, whenever possible.

We have the power to take responsibility for how we respond to what happens to us and to learn from it. Not the blame, but the responsibility without falling into victimhood. We must learn to face the things that scare us so that we can elevate and evolve into better versions of ourselves. Do not let fear hold you back. Let go of “imposter syndrome” and be all that you are meant to be, as you break free from the fears you have held onto for so long. Do the things that scare you and step into greatness. When you open yourself up to receive and when you live in gratitude, the Universe (God/Source) listens and responds.

So as things begin to shake things up again, focus on living life on your own terms as powerfully and as SAFELY as possible! Stay away from the sensationalized news, stay focused on your goals, and on your family, while living your best life, as intentionally as possible to become the best version of YOU! And follow your passion because that is what your higher self is seeking. When you act on your passion, the things you love to do (things you could do every day, all day if you could,) it helps you form a strong connection and awareness to our higher self, and this leads us to the path that is true to who we are.

And remember to stay in a positive state, even when the outcome is not the one you want.

Everything is interconnected.

I say, stay FOCUSED! Invest in YOURSELF and in your HEALTH.

1. Be safe.

3. Raise your vibration to a higher frequency (love.)

4. Invest in your health; especially boosting your immune system.

5. Read and listen to things that will help shift your mindset.

8. Maintain Balance – everything in life is about balance.

9. Question everything!

10. Let go of fear-based beliefs

11. Follow your passion.

12. Feed your soul with intention and purpose.

13. Raise your frequency; raise your consciousness.

14. Step into your POWER.

15. Be Happy! Find the joy in everyday living.

It is time we COLLECTIVELY raised the consciousness of the Universe and stopped with all the negative drama on the planet! Fall in love with healing yourself (individually) – mind, body and soul, so that you can affect the collective positively! Be the change you wish to see in the world!

Stop playing small and OWN YOUR LIGHT!

A FIT PLACE

Ladies! This one is for you. If you are dealing with hormone issues, weight issues, gut health issues, lack of sleep, anxiety or menopause, then this may resonate even more.

If you know me personally, you know that my mom passed away young, (and if you didn’t know, now you do.) Sadly, she passed away from the C-word at the young age of 50, (she was 6 moths shy of 51.) So, I really didn’t see her go through menopause, or maybe I was just living in my own world and didn’t know? Either way, I didn’t and don’t have her to go to for reference, especially now that I am at that stage!

I’ve learned to do my own research and live and learn through my own experiences. What I know for a fact is that menopause can be a real b*tch! One minute you are loving life in your 30’s, then slowly your 40’s start to creep up – you gain more confidence, feel good in your own skin and then bam! Out of nowhere, this crazy hormonal hurricane hits your life. If you are ill-prepared and can screw with your mental health as well as your body. I don’t want to delve TOO much into the specifics of menopause, because I want to focus more on solutions to hormonal issues, weight gain and gut health.

I will say though, that I am doing everything I can to try to deal with some of the symptoms that have wreaked havoc on my body. For example, some of the symptoms that women tend to experience are things like:

-Whole body: fatigue, night sweats, joints hurting, hot flashes, or sweating;

-Meno belly (gaining weight around the belly/abdomen area.)

-Anxiety, dry skin, irritability, moodiness, reduced sex drive, or vaginal dryness

-Sleep: early awakening or insomnia

-Menstrual: absence of menstruation or irregular menstruation

-Hair: dryness or loss of scalp hair

It really is no picnic! And if you have a spouse/partner, often times they are left wondering what the heck is going on with you! Even if you are not menopausal, just having that fluctuation of hormones that women have monthly can be a roller-coaster of emotions.

Everyone talks about getting your period when you are a pre-teen but as you grow older into adulthood, no one really warns you about the nightmare that is menopause. It used to be a taboo subject, thankfully, now there is so much more information shared publicly.

Of course, there are those lucky few who don’t have any symptoms at all, or have procedures done or take hormones etc…but personally, I always try to choose the natural solutions to deal with health issues.

It is because my mom had the C-word that I am a little paranoid about hormone therapy or going the big pharma route. I saw her go through so much to fight for her life, that I have made a conscious commitment to do my part in trying to be healthier and to help others along the way, not only in her memory but for my children, for my family and for myself! Life has plenty of ups and downs (surprises) and G-d only knows what’s in store for each one of us, but we CAN, each do our part to try to be as happy and as healthy as possible, with the cards we are dealt. We can’t always control what is thrown at us, but we can control how we react and respond. And with that said, let me just say that being a woman comes with its own special set of rules and circumstances! As women, we go through a lot physically as we begin to develop and our hormones kick in, and then as we get older, we have to deal with even more. It is always a challenge but part of the journey.

HEALTHY GUT, HEALTHY MIND

Hi There! Now that I got your attention with these cute otters, let me ask you…How cute are you feeling? How are you feeling physically and emotionally lately?

I hope you are feeling great but if you happen to be feeling tired, sluggish or have no energy to start your day, one of the best ways to help yourself feel better, is to work on your body from the inside out! And that starts with finding something to help your gut health.

LOOKING FOR THE LIGHT IN TOWER MOMENTS

Sometimes itโ€™s difficult to be positive, and to be patient or to comprehend the challenges we are faced with, in those “tower moments” of life that make us feel overwhelmed. Those “tower moments” are moments that can feel like everything around you is crumbling, and getting more difficult at every turn, but the key to overcoming these moments, is to make space for more light to enter, to move to a new higher frequency with an upward and forward movement. It is important to always keep moving forward towards that light. (“Nunca para atrรกs como el cangrejo!โ€) Moving forward is not the same as moving on. You can โ€œmove on,โ€ physically, but emotionally, you may not have moved forward. Forward is progress. It is where we need to go as things change and move in different directions with the ups & downs of life. We need to learn to look for the light and move forward in progress. And that doesnโ€™t mean the โ€œlightโ€ they talk about at death. When I refer to the light, I am referring to the light of LIFE, of love, of hope, of motivation, of kindness, of compassion, of happiness, of better days yet to come. It is the light that sparks you from the inside out!

We all have that “light” within in us, but sometimes we just need that spark or switch turned back on. Often, we forget who we really are supposed to be because we got lost in the chaos of life. It takes conscious effort to look for the things that โ€œlight you up,โ€ and bring you joy. It also takes plenty of self-love and personal development to nurture your soul. We are a work in progress.

Ask yourself this? If you treated a project at work or at school with attention, care, and focus to make sure it was successful and turned out well, why wouldn’t you do that for yourself? If you are doing it right, when you complete a job, a project or levels in school, you keep going up and forward in progress. You either work towards a goal, good grades, a promotion or different levels of success, so why wouldn’t you put in the same or better effort to the ultimate project in your life? YOURSELF!

If you don’t put yourself first, why not? Well, maybe you feel stuck…but guess what? When we feel stuck in life, it is because we are not putting in the work. We are not putting in the work to better in our relationships, our jobs, our health, our friendships – none of it. Sometimes our hearts can’t accept what the Universe has planned for us but it is our job to We are just letting old patterns of behavior steer the wheel and become complacent with the status quo. Complacency is a killer. That doesn’t mean that life has to be perfect to be wonderful. It means, that we learn how to maneuver through those tough tower moments and find something wonderful in the journey. It is possible even in the darkest of days. We are not here on Earth to just get by and complain about the rough moments in our lives. Like the saying goes, “We are here to thrive, not just survive.”

And News Flash: no one gets out alive We’re not usually here for a long time, (unless you are my grandmother! LOL!) So, we should make every effort to make it the best time possible. Actually, what I have learned, is that we are here on Earth to learn to manipulate energy and become better versions of ourselves. If you are religious, then perhaps that better version is the goal of becoming God like. And if you believe in Source, then you know that we are all God and have that power within us to achieve a higher frequency.

But let me not digress into religion…the bottom line is you have to do what lights you up.

You (and by you, I mean you, me, we,) have to make a conscious effort to look for the things that โ€œlight you up,โ€ and bring you joy. Even with all the craziness and frustrations, we go through in life, it is about surrounding yourself with people who make you want to be better and do better. It is about moving away from the dark energies and things that bring you down.  It is about appreciating those people, who genuinely love you and treat you well, who check on you and want to see you succeed in life. There is plenty of good in the world, we just have to look for it! And there is also great abundance in the world, (if only greed and power would take a back seat.) Love, abundance, kindness, it’s all there waiting for you, for me, for us!

Looking for the light is about finding โ€œyour tribeโ€ and thriving there, whether that be with family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, teammates, and so forth. Having a tribe is about having that support that we all need at one time or another in our lives. And if you donโ€™t like the โ€œtribeโ€ you have, get a new one or find one! Reach out to me and will help you find one.

There will always be some cloudiness, and even some dark days, but it is in that โ€œdarkness,โ€ that we must learn to manipulate our Energy, so that we can attract the good, (โ€œthe lightโ€) and the higher frequency in life, which IMO, is THE goal. That higher frequency is in reference to a higher spiritual plane, not a physical state. And with that said, our physical state is also an integral part of our journey.

It is true that health is indeed our greatest wealth, and without that we have nothing, which makes it that much more difficult to stay motivated and happy when we are not in good health or not feeling our โ€œbest.โ€

This is why we should try to do everything in our POWER, to be as willing and as healthy as possible to put in the WORK: mind, body & soul.  Feeling good and having a positive mindset is hard work. No one said it would be easy; but it is definitely worth it, when you are able to shift your paradigm – to change your thinking and perspective from what it has always been, that is progress – that is success. It is learning to have a growth mindset over the same old stagnant mindset we have been conditioned with, that says things are the way they are, and that they have to stay that way.

This is not true. We can change our mindset at any time we make the DECISION to do so. We have the POWER! The power to be happy, to be healthy, to be kind, to spread love and happiness and to make every day count.

We are not here on Earth to just survive and get by. IMO, we are here to make a difference, to make a positive impact, somewhere along the course of our lives.

At some point in life, you may have inspired or motivated someone and not even known it. And sometimes, you might even have to โ€œtoot your own horn,โ€ to keep you going with self-talk, personal development, daily affirmations or even just coming back to read this blog.

So even if you feel things are crumbling around you or getting more difficult, and those โ€œtower moments,โ€ seem to be growing, remember that we donโ€™t grow or learn when things are easy. We grow when we learn to overcome the obstacles with grace and grit. We learn when we can recognize the lessons, as difficult as some of those may be.

The Earth, Gaia, G-d, Source is shifting us to become better versions of ourselves.

My advice is “do more of what makes you happy every day” and be like a sunflower – always looking for the light, that brings you joy, health and happiness. Stand tall, even if sometimes you may feel like you are wilting.

Or if you think like an artist, will paint the picture of your life. ๐ŸŽจ We hold the brush (pen) and can paint (write) on any canvas we choose. We just have to decide what it is we REALLY want and the Universe (G-d) will help to make it happen. What ๐—œ.๐—™. is a powerful tool – ๐•€๐•Ÿ๐•ฅ๐•–๐•Ÿ๐•ฅ๐•š๐• ๐•Ÿ + ๐”ฝ๐•’๐•š๐•ฅ๐•™.

We make choices everyday! Either we choose to just coast along and survive or we ๐—–๐—ต๐—ผ๐—ผ๐˜€๐—ฒ ๐—•๐—ฒ๐˜๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐——๐—ฎ๐˜†๐˜€ by living intentionally to thrive. However, that looks for ๐•๐•†๐•Œ without comparing your life to other. There will be chapters in the book when ee feelnlike we are only surviving or maybe evdn both, but the key is to know that we each have the ๐—ฃ๐—ข๐—ช๐—˜๐—ฅ to change our thoughts and our actions at any moment in life.

LIFE DOESN’T HAVE TO BE PERFECT TO BE WONDERFUL.

Some days do you wake up and wonder , “Just what am I doing? Is this all worth it?”ย  Working hard to make a living, trying to blend into the “rat-race,” shuffling the kids back and forth between activities and sports, with barely any free time for yourself.ย  I know, I do!

There are just some days when I feel down and “blue” and can’t see the silver lining. This tends to happen on Monday mornings or when things aren’t going my way (fast enough.) It is usually when I am in my “own little world,” not really participating productively in society, that I let myself get trapped in that “blue box.”

Life can sometimes seem like one disappointment after another, but really, if we change our lens, and look at all the good and positive things in our lives, it can and will change our perspective.ย  It is so important to have a goal, to be a part of something bigger than us.

Even though, I do wake up some days feeling like something is wrong with the entire world, I’ve learned that “life doesn’t have to be perfect to be wonderful.”ย  I have learned that in moments like this, that’s when it’s time to make the EXTRA effort to get out and do something positive.ย  I have learned that three people have the power to make me happy: Me, Myself & I!

That’s right only YOU and I, individually, have the power to make ourselves happy.ย  And remember, life doesn’t have to be perfect all the time, you just have to recognize and appreciate what you do have and show gratitude everyday for it!ย  This does not mean you are going to float around like “Mary Poppins” every day but it will help you will start your day off with a little more pizzazz and appreciation for the life you live, especially when you have dreams and goals to pursue.

Here is a list of things I want to share with you, that you may want to try to help you get back into the “swing of things.”ย  Remember, YOU always have the power to be happy.ย

ย 10 TIPS TO BOOST YOUR DAY(S) INTO A HAPPY DAY(S):

1. Make a list of all the things you love and appreciate in your life (look at this list and remember it!)

2. Make a conscious effort to schedule time to do something YOU enjoy (art, crafts, yoga, write etc…)

3. Treat yourself to your favorite lunch or dinner.

4. Call or visit an old friend – sometimes the best therapy is just talking to someone you trust or like.

5. Find a way to laugh, whether it’s listening to jokes (audio) or going to a comedy show.

6. Read something inspiring and motivational.

7. Start a fun or creative project. Something that youโ€™re excited about, that will make you smile.

8. Write about how you feel, whether you have a blog or not. Talk about the things that make you feel down or upset. Whether you share it or not, is not the point. It is cathartic to write out your feelings. Post it, donโ€™t post it, whatever you choose to do, just get it out of your system.

9.ย  Watch that movie that you’ve wanted to see for a while now, even if it’s requires getting a sitter.

10. Go for a walk, somewhere where you can appreciate nature (tree, beach, mountain, by a lake etc…)

These are just a few things you can do to help you get a jump-start to your happy frame of mind.ย  ย Every day will not always be good but you can definitely find the good in every day.ย  You are attracting what you think on a daily basis.ย  You have the power…use it wisely!
